This is a late18th or early 19th century hand beaten silver shield/vestment for a Child Jesus or for an Angel/Cherub. Very finely detailed work of leaves and flowers on a massive piece of silver with very thick patina. It has two holes at the top collar section and another two holes at the midsection for mounting. The silver weights 66 grams and measures 6 in. high X 3 inches wide. Condition is pristine. No damages whatsoever. Child Jesus not included in sale.
