Comments: This image is a primitive representation of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception carved out of e dense type of wood. Very unique rendering starting with her eyes which are made of glass (not the reversed inset type but rather like real pices of glass. Her crown and the broken wings of the front cherub are made of unknown metal. Her feet are sticking out as well as the front cherub. There are three cherubs guarding her below at the clouds. The half moon is still intact where normally at this age the half moon will now be missing. It was collected in the 1950's in the Philippines, Province of Pampanga and found its way here in the U.S. during the 60's.
