This is a Vintage mid 20th century (1940's) hand carved wood statue of the Nuestra Senora del Buen Suceso (Our Lady of Good Success). Hand carved and signed by one of renowned Mexican of family of santeros M. Cortes with beautiful patina and very detailed workmanship. Very intricate carving with various colors. Quality is the hallmark of this santero family. See our other collections from these santero family. It measures 9" H x 8" W x 2" thick and weighs 9 oz. It is in very good condition. One tiny chip on the crown and missing hands. Major colors are black, yellow, orange, dark red and gold.
