This is a 19th Century hand beaten semi-circle silver crown resplendor or aureole for a Nuestra Senora, Santo Nino or Saint. Very ornate and detailed work with floral motif and rich patina. Note the precise carving indicative of fine European tooling craftsmanship. It has a massive post 1" long for attachment. Weights 24gms. , 3 1/2" W x 3" H , 2" wide X 1 1/4" high inside opening.
